Dr. Lala Arison. Head of the Clinique MM 24/24, Mptisabo Mikambana, in Antananarivo. Dr. Arison was head of the Malagasy team of the VAVANY-study investigation the respiratory health of Malagasy schoolchildren.
Tsilavintsoa Ernaivo. Ms. Ernaivo is working as study nurse in the MAKI-study like in the VAVANY-study from 2009. In addition she is consultant for the national airline Air Madagascar.
Melanie Götschke. Melanie Götschke is medical student at the University of Munich (LMU). She will write her dissertation evaluating the data of the MAKI-study.
Dr. Sabina Illi, MPH. Research assistant of Prof Erika von Mutius: statistical and epidemiological analysis ofthe MAKI-study
Prof. Dr. Erika von Mutius. Professor Erika von Mutius is Paediatrician, Allergologist and Epidemiologist. She is head of the Childhood Allergy and Asthma Research Group and the Department of Asthma and Allergies at the University Children’s Hospital in Munich. Dr. von Mutius’ working group has longstanding experience with design, implementation and data analysis of large, multicenter and interdisciplinary projects addressing the role of genetic and environmental risk factors for the development of asthma and allergic illnesses.
Prof. Dr. Annick Robinson. Prof. Dr. Robinson is head of the Children’s Clinic at the University of Antananarivo (Hôpital mère-enfant de Tsaralalana) and very experienced with respiratory diseases. She is working as a sienentist with a broad spectrum of publications in regional and international journals.
Ando Rakotozanany is pediatrician at the children’s clinic of the University of Antananarivo (Hôpital mère-enfant de Tsaralalana).
Dr. Peter Th. Wolff is Pediatrician, Pulmonologist and Allergologist working in a group practice in Pfullendorf near the Lake of Constance. He conducted the VAVANY-study in Antananarivo, Madagascar’s capital, investigating asthma in schoolchildren and establishing the first equations in lung function for Malagasy children.
